2015-2017 Gov. Walker’s Proposed Budget

On February 3, Governor Walker introduced his proposed budget for the 2015-2017 biennium, or the period beginning July 1, 2015 and ending June 30, 2017. Governor Walker’s budget was introduced in the Wisconsin State Legislature and referred to the Joint Finance Committee, a committee of Senators and Representatives who are tasked with studying, receiving input, and recommending changes to the Governor’s budget. The Joint Finance Committee concluded its deliberations on our State’s $70 billion biennial budget just after midnight on Friday morning, 7/3/15.

*Phone banks on proposed state budget this week!
Join us this week to push back on the proposed busted budget, which will only hurt working families in Wisconsin if passed. Please help recruit your members to take a shift to call on legislators in Central WI to oppose this destructive budget. We will have phone lists and food, but you will need to bring your own cell phone. Come whenever works in the 4-7pm time frame, just be sure to RSVP so I can prepare.
